The Math coaches introduced metric measurement to their 4th grade math students. They studied the metric system for two weeks with lots of hands-on activities for all students to participate in.
A Mini Metric Olympics event was held where students participated in several activities. This helped bring metrics to life for them in a very memorable way.
Students created a Metric Measurement Book in Book Creator to show their understanding of metric measurements.
